Black & White Oil painting

Black and White oil on cardboard canvas. It isn't finished, because we are done with the model. Isn't quite dry yet either, thus the blotchy areas in the background.

Hi Thomas,

Actually I've been going once a week to take a portrait class with Florian Jacot (i'm sure you've had him as a teacher before) www.florianjacot.com to find out more about his courses.

We do it at Artist25, a studio on Brock St.

Great job on this Dan. The lighting and the anatomy is great. Looks like that class is really paying off. How long did this take?

Hey, so you paint with Andrew Shegolov? Anyhow, great piece Dan. It looks very solid, especially the bicep and the way it's pressed against the leg.

Shank Shank and Happy Holidays!
